Todd Hughes Obituary

Bryan Todd Hughes, affectionately known by all as simply Todd, passed away surrounded by family and friends after a brief battle with cancer at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 28, 2023, at Parkview Whitley Hospital in Columbia City, Indiana.  Todd was a resident of Pierceton, Indiana when he went home to be with the Lord at the age of 60.

He was born on April 3, 1963, in Warsaw, Indiana to the late Robert M. Hughes and Jeannine A. (Leslie) Hughes Phillips.  Todd was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana where he was a 1982 graduate of Warsaw High School.  He earned his degree from Ivy Tech in 1987 in digital computer and electronic technology.  Todd also attended IU/Purdue Ft. Wayne (IPFW).

On September 19, 1992, he married the love of his life and partner in everything he did, Robin A. Frantz.  They were blessed with 30 years of marriage, celebrating anniversaries, birthdays, holidays, family get-togethers and most importantly, raising their two children.  He dearly loved his family, always available as Dad, supporting his kids throughout their childhoods.  He loved to spend time with his wife, Robin, traveling and enjoying God’s beauty wherever they went.  They especially loved their trips to the beach, relaxing and taking in the sun.  He loved nature, animals, and nurturing his tree farm.

Todd attended First United Methodist Church of Warsaw.  He worked as a pressman, a hardworking man who was respected as a longtime employee at LSC Printing Solutions (formerly R.R. Donnelley & Sons) in Warsaw.  Todd enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, painting, and of course he was great at smoking anything on his smoker.  He was a strong, beautiful soul, with a kind heart and sense of humor.  He made a big impact on this world in his 60 years.  Todd was a man of God who loved his mother; was a good son, wonderful husband, father, brother, and friend to many.  They have comfort in knowing his pain has come to an end and will forever be whole again in Heaven.

He leaves behind his wife, Robin A. Hughes (Pierceton, IN); son, Tanner (Montgomery) Hughes (North Manchester, IN); and his daughter, Emily Hughes (Fishers, IN).  Also surviving is his mother and step-father, Jeannine and Dale Phillips (Warsaw, IN); brother, Gregory Hughes (Warsaw, IN); five step-brothers, Terry (Kathy) Phillips (Lititz, PA); Larry (Debbie) Phillips (Warsaw, IN); Garry (Bonnie) Phillips (Warsaw, IN); Jerry (Rachelle) Phillips (Warsaw, IN); and Joe (Sabrina) Phillips (Mentone, IN).  He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Hughes and grandmother, Evelyn Hughes.
