Warren Goodman, Sr.

Warren Goodman, Sr. of Pierceton, Indiana passed away at 5:28 p.m. on Friday, November 26, 2021 at I.U. Health University Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana at the age of 68.

He was born on April 2, 1953 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky to Hazel (Collins) Goodman and Daniel Goodman.

Warren was a hard worker his entire life and spent 49 years employed at Chore Time Brock in Milford, Indiana.  He worked in the Brock Manufacturing section as a material handler.    He made many friends at work and was known for his great sense of humor.  Warren was a very generous man and helpful to people in need.  He loved children and of course he had a big heart for animals.  Warren loved to show horses and always had a great time when he was able to go coon hunting.  He was one of those friendly guys that simply never knew a stranger.  Warren will be dearly missed by all who loved him.    

He leaves behind his fiancé:  Lora Sizemore (Warsaw, IN); two sons: Warren (April) Goodman, Jr.; Jonathan William Goodman (both of Warsaw, IN); three step-daughters:  Angela (Daniel) Zolman (Warsaw, IN); Vanessa (Mark) Pohl (Winona Lake, IN); Becky Logan (Warsaw, IN); and three grandchildren:  Ashland Kramer (Ft. Wayne, IN); Braxton Goodman (South Whitley, IN); Wesley Goodman (Wilmot, IN).  Also surviving are three brothers:  Daniel Goodman (Knox, PA); Chester (Jan) Goodman (Pierceton, IN); Phillip Goodman (Larwill, IN); three sisters:  Mara Helblieg (Claypool, IN); Virginia Morris (Warsaw, IN); and Molly (Don) Gilbert (North Manchester, IN).  He was preceded in death by his parents, and step-son, Matt Sizemore.           

Visitation will be held from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.  Warren’s life will be celebrated immediately following at 1:00 p.m. and officiated by Pastor Hedgel Perry.  A graveside service will follow at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw, Indiana.
